Hi All ! Say im looking for a new grahics card system for the new Desktop and am looking into the new Nvidia Sli multi cards systems that do 3D rendering for playing games in 3D and movies. Currently looking at the GTX 450 card. Any thoughts on this card or this series of cards, or 3D gaming in general? This will be in a new desktop system with a 3D supported monitor. Thanks ;D

Im still running ET, COD, BF2, MOH (all series 10 anniversary edition) Doom 3, having some doubts on how the older games are gonna run in Windows 7 but i may put Windows XP Pro also on the main comp and have 2 OS installed. Have been reading that Windows 7 pro or Ultimate have backwards compatibilty to Windows XP. I am assuming that i will be stuck with Windows 7 on the new comps as they will come preloaded with it on there. Anyone see a problem having Windows 7 and XP loaded on the same Computer? Win 7 Os will be Ultimate 64 bit edition, but Win XP will be the old 32 bit edition. Thanks, Chubbsy

I have been looking at ATI cards. i have been using Nvidia up till now and like Jake, ive never had problems. was originally looking at the N gt 240 like roy but the companies are now giving free upgrades to higher cards but i thought the 240 was decent. Desktop i think will be AMD phenom 6core but i like the new i7 processors too. a little on the pricey side but i hear great things from them too. Thanks for the input all!

I would stick to nVidia. they have great products. look into the nVidia Quadro series... $5000 though! I have a really old one in my laptop and it can still play modern games. $5000 is for the best model. i think its 400 for the others
